ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Parenting and Group Work Coordinator, you will take the lead in shaping and delivering high-quality group support for families. Overseeing a dedicated team, you will ensure parents and carers receive the guidance and resources they need to build strong, nurturing relationships with their children. Working closely with local partners, you will coordinate and enhance group programmes, making sure they are accessible, effective, and responsive to the needs of the community. With a focus on delivering best-practice interventions, you will support your team in maintaining high standards while fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment for families. This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your expertise in family support and group facilitation to a role where you can make a real difference, helping to shape services that support parents in giving their children the best possible start in life. This role is based in Birmingham and may involve working across areas in Hodge Hill/Sutton Coldfield and Erdington/Perry Barr.
ABOUT YOU
You are a skilled professional with expertise in family support, group facilitation, and community engagement. With experience in delivering structured interventions and evidence-based programmes, you have a strong understanding of child development, safeguarding, and early intervention strategies. As a confident leader, you can manage a team, oversee service delivery, and build partnerships with key stakeholders to enhance support for families. You are highly organised, using data and feedback to evaluate and improve services, ensuring they are effective and accessible. Your ability to engage with parents and carers, facilitate group sessions, and adapt to diverse needs makes you an asset to any family-focused setting.
