About us
Welcome to Spurgeons Wiltshire Family Hub, where families come first.
We support families and young people from early years through to young adulthood, offering one‑to‑one support, parenting programmes, and help to access vital services. Our work is rooted in compassion, fairness and commitment, and we are proud to make a lasting impact in the communities we serve.
About the role
This is a community‑based role working directly with families across North Wiltshire, in their homes, schools and local settings.
In this role, you will:
Build strong, trusted relationships with up to 20 families
Deliver one‑to‑one support and interventions that create lasting change
Work closely with schools, health professionals and community partners
Advocate for families and help them access the right support
Use your safeguarding knowledge to keep children and young people safe and thriving
You won’t be expected to manage a full caseload immediately, we’ll support you to build this over time.
Location and travel
This role involves regular travel across North Wiltshire.
In return, you’ll have the autonomy to manage your diary and plan your time effectively to meet the needs of families.
About you
We’d love to hear from you if you have experience working with children, young people or families. This could include:
Family support or early help
Youth work or community work
Schools, pastoral or teaching assistant roles
Support work or similar roles
You will:
Have a relevant Level 3 qualification
Understand safeguarding and early intervention
Be organised, resilient and able to manage a varied caseload
Build strong relationships with families and professionals
Be able to travel across North Wiltshire
